This is our first formal carbon footprint assessment. Previous emissions were not tracked systematically, so 2023 has been selected as our baseline.

Emissions Reduction Targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 25 tCO2e by 2029. This is a reduction of 37.5% from our 2023 baseline.

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
- Upgraded kitchen equipment to energy-efficient models.
- Switched to a green electricity provider.
- Introduced a low-emissions delivery policy, including reduced vehicle miles.
- Reduced single-use and non-compostable packaging across operations.
Planned Future Initiatives
- Introduce electric delivery vans.
- Install solar panels at our Trafford Park warehouse.
- Implement a comprehensive food waste reduction strategy.
- Offset remaining emissions via certified schemes.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the GHG Reporting Protocol and SECR requirements. Scope 1, 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions have been disclosed appropriately.
